Yuk Ying Yeung

Yuk Ying Yeung, 94 of Bluefield, VA, who her children called "Momme", departed her loving family on 12/03/2024 at home peacefully with her children by her bedside.

Yuk Ying was born in Hong Kong on 02/05/1930 to the late Shui Wong and Yang Yeung.

Yuk Ying was mother to Yin Man Jelenna Leung, Yin Kan Maria Leung, Yu Ho Copol Leung, Yu Kit Alan Leung and Yu Wai Leslie Leung. She raised her children with love and devotion in Hong Kong with her late husband, Chung Yin David Leung.

She was a full-time homemaker all her life beside a brief spell as a part-time factory assembly line worker. She loved her family so much that always spending all her paycheck for her family first. She kept on helping her children by taking care of her grandchildren after retirement. She kept on supporting her children by babysitting after emigrating to US in 80's. Her hobbies included TV, clothes making, mahjong, cooking, watching and listening Chinese opera.

She is survived by her daughters, Yin Man Jelenna and her husband, Wing Kwok Dennis Sr Leung, and Yin Kan Maria Leung; her sons, Yu Ho Copol Leung, Yu Kit Alan Leung and his wife Uik Chow, and Yu Wai Leslie Leung and his wife Crystal Chan; her grandchildren, Sea-Wing Priscilla Leung and her husband, Warner Genaro Pinto, Yen-Wing Leung and her husband, David Michael Morehead, Kwun Loon Dennis Jr Leung and his wife, Crystal Duong, Yiu Fung Marco Leung, Yiu Tung Terence Leung, Yiu Wen Otto Leung, Ka Ming Alysia Leung and her husband, Chas James Blais, Yiu Heng Brandon Leung; and great grandchildren, Lok-Yee Kenzi Chen, Autumn Juniper Morehead, Talan Orion Morehead and James Camden Blais.

Aside from the children she doted on, Yuk Ying is survived by her sisters, Yuk Kuo Yeung and Yuk Ho Yeung, and her brothers, Man Tak Yeung and Man Fung Yeung.

Our family also takes this opportunity to thank all the professionals and care givers for their professional, caring, and loving services to mom, just name a few Dr. Javed, Dr. Sekkarie, Dr. K Patel, Dr. Le, Dr. Blaydes, Dr. Azzo, Dr. Felsinger, PA Kim Matzel, PT James Dyer, and MSA Home Health and Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Kidney Foundation with the link National Kidney Foundation or MSA Home Health and Hospice can be made in memory of Yuk Ying Yeung.

Viewing, celebration of life and remembrances will be held at Dudley Memorial Mortuary, Bluefield, Virginia on 12/14/2024 from 12pm.
