WILLIAM LEE RUBLE
William Lee Ruble, 67 of Bluefield, WV, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Bower's Hospice House in Beckley, WV after battling cancer for a number of years. Born in Bluefield, WV he was the son of the late Clayton and Louise Burkett Ruble. Billy had proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed wood working and just piddling in his basement. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Clayton; sisters: Darlene, Jean and Margie and a daughter: Kimberly Ruble.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son: William Lee Ruble II of NC; brothers: Glenn Ruble and wife, Phyllis of Bluefield, WV, Preston Ruble of Bluefield, WV and Bob Ruble and wife, Linda of NC; 2 grandchildren.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. There will be no public visitation or service.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors, staff and volunteers at Bower's Hospice House for the loving care and compassion that was extended with excellence.
