WILLIAM DON "DONNY" PARKS, JR.

William Don "Donny" Parks, Jr, 62 of Bluefield, WV, passed away Saturday, October at his residence.  Born in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late William Don Parks, Sr and Ruth Blackwell Parks.  He was of the Baptist faith and had attended Brushfork Baptist Church.  He took pride in keeping the area around his apartment clean.  Donnie loved to help others and you could count on him to be available if you needed him.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Tammy Parks and Peggy Lunsford and his daughter, whom he cherished: Misty Parks.

He will be missed by his sons: Jason Lester of Bluefield, WV, Eric Parks and wife, Andrea of Morgantown, WV, James Parks and wife, April of Bluewell, WV and Petey Parks and wife, Sara of Princeton, WV; his siblings: Debbie Dix and husband, Don of Bluefield, WV, Jennifer Green and husband, Robert of Bluefield, WV, Eve Blaney and husband, Garry of Rowlesburg, WV and Allen Parks of Bluefield, WV; grandchildren: Caleb, Brayden, Maddie, Morgan, Ryland, ilu and Connor; girlfriend: Brenda Sexton of Bluefield, WV.

A service to celebrate Donnie's life will be held Thursday, November 03, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Pastor Robert Kinder officiating.  Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.  Brandon Green, Adam Lunsford, Barry Blackwell, Ryland Parks, Eric Parks, Bo Woods and Phillip Hylton will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday at Dudley Memorial from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.
