WILLIAM GERALD "ROCK" HALL

William Gerald "Rock" Hall, 65 of North Tazewell, VA, passed away at home with his family and MSA Hospice by his side. Born in Maryland, he was the son of the late Jay Fred Hall, Sr and Peggy Tolbert Hall. He grew up in Bastian and enjoyed spending time with his family, playing chess, video games and being outside in nature.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Becky Hall and Brenda Jumper; his mother-in-law: Eula May Putnam.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years: Mary Putnam Hall; his children: William Dalton Hall and wife, Victoria, Jessica Hall and Jeremy Harless; grandchildren: Dawson, Amelia, Colton, Briar and Eve Hall, Isabella Hall, Andrew Harless and Bradley Harless; great-granddaughter: Paisley Ann; brother: Jay Fred Hall, Jr and wife, Carol; sisters: Joann Hall, Debbie Bird and Linda Parris; father-in-law: Delbert Putnam; and an extended family including nieces, nephew and friends.

A service to celebrate William's life will be held Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Steve Branch officiating.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.
