WHITNEY DENISE GRUBB

Whitney Denise Grubb, 32 of Roanoke, VA and formerly of Bishop, VA, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022 in Abingdon, VA.  Born in Princeton, WV, she was the daughter of Ken Lee Grubb of Mims, FL and Sheila Wright Lambert of Bishop, VA.  Whitney loved music and being with friends and family.  She also enjoyed working odd jobs.  She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Fred and Elaine Grubb; maternal grandparents: Arthur and Ilene Wright; brother: James "J.J." Wright.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters: Tiffany Vanhoozer of Bishop, VA and Courtney Ward and husband, Josh of Bartley, WV; nephews: Bryson Vanhoozer and Easton Ward, expected in November; special cousin: Stephany Wright of Hollybrook, VA; and an extended family of other aunts, uncles and cousins.

In keeping with Whitney's wishes, her body will be cremated.  The family will plan a memorial service at a later date.
