WALTER A. BENNETT, JR

Walter Bennett, Jr., 95 of Falls Mills, VA, went home to be with the Lord On Saturday, September 23, 2023.  Born in Elgarten, WV, he was the son of the late Walter A. and Maggie Brooks Bennett.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Betty Bennett Cundiff and second wife Anna Laura Young Bennett; his siblings Opal Bennett Young, Odell Bennett, and John Roscoe Bennett.

He will be greatly missed by daughters Nikki Bennett Wagner of Princeton, WV, Sandy Bennett Stephenson and husband Scott of Falls Mills, VA, and by son Keith Allen Bennett and wife Tammy of Falls Mills, VA; grandchildren Amber Wagner Williams and husband Charlie of Falls Mills, VA, Chad Allen Bennett and wife Heather of Johnson City, TN and Jaime Bennett Bowman and husband Zach of Rocky Gap, VA; great-grandchildren Colyn Pennington, Dawson Pennington, Noah Gardner, Kadance Bowman and Maggie Bowman.

In keeping with Walter's wishes, he will be cremated and a family service will be held at a later date.  Because of his great love and compassion for animals, memorial contributions may be made to ALIVE Animal Services Group, P.O. Box 5464, Princeton, WV  24740.
