Wade J. Whited

Our beloved brother, Wade J. Whited, 64 of Bluefield, Va. passed away Friday March 20, 2015 at Princeton Community Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Born September 18, 1950 in Bluefield, West Virginia, he was the son of Irene Whited and Garnet Whited.
Wade was a life-long resident of Bluefield, Va. and a graduate of Graham High School. Wade was assistant manager of Deskins until it closed and was employed by Blizzards until his illness. Wade attended Graham Christian Church in Bluefield, Va. Wade was a humble, caring person who loved his family, going to the Mall and eating at K&W, and the Cracker Barrel.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother William Whited.
Survivors include his sisters, Ellen Rutledge of North Tazewell, Va., Alice (Walt) Greene of Stanfield, NC, Wanda Burton of Bland Va., his brother Larry (Debbie) Whited , sister Judy Bailey (Donnie) of Princeton, WV, sister in law Peggy Whited.
Wade is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Teresa Lewis, Billy (Hanna) Greene, Angie (Jonathan) Barbee, David (Hannah) Whited, B.J. (Amanda) Whited and Josh Hale.
Surviving great-nieces and nephews: Zack (Amy) Sayers, Cody Sayers, Cornti Sayers, Ryan Stamper, Alyssa Whited, Tristan Whited, Juliana Whited, Cody Barbee, Annalise Greene, Matthias Whited and Josie Hale. Wade was very blessed to have three very special friends Marion Blackwell, Aaron Shawver, Alexandria Campbell.
Visitation will be held Monday March 23, 2015 at Dudley Memorial Mortuary, Bluefield, Va. from 6 pm until 8 pm. Funeral service will be held Tuesday March 24, 2015 at 11 am with the Rev. Kenny Hawthorne officiating. Interment will be at Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, Va. Wade's nephews will serve as pallbearers, Billy Green, Josh Hale, Zack Sayers, Cody Sayers, David Whited and B.J. Whited.
