VIRGINIA MAE ROSE

Virginia Mae Rose, 75 of Bluefield, VA, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, November 26, 2018, following a brief illness. Born in Kingsport, TN, she was the daughter of the late George and Nettie Clark White.  She had retired from St. Luke's Hospital, working as an LPN for over 30 years.  She was a member of the Mid-Way Christian Church and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She will be lovingly and affectionately missed by her husband of 55 years: James Rose; her daughter: Lora Strickland and husband, James of Loris, SC; her sister: Patricia Smith of Enterprise, AL; grandchildren: Megan and William Ford; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A service to celebrate Virginia's life will be held Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Minister Dan Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens.  James Strickland, Megan Ford, Stanley Rose, John Carter, Jim Hess and Alex Bowman will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Dudley Memorial from 12:00 noon until the hour of the service.
