In Loving Memory of a Remarkable Woman
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, wife, nana, sister, and friend, Twyllia Karen Belcher/Bailey, on July 22, 2023, her 61st Birthday.
Twyllia was a shining beacon of love and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. She is proceeded in death by Father Hyland Douglas Bailey, Mother Rose Marie Bailey, Brother Richard (Dickey) Bailey, and Brother Keith O'Brine Bailey.
As a loving mother, she nurtured her children Dr. William [Laura] Belcher and Lisa Bennett with unconditional love, guiding them with wisdom and compassion. As a devoted wife, she stood by her husband, William (Smoky) Belcher of 43 years, through thick and thin, exemplifying the true meaning of a lifelong commitment and extraordinary love.
Her role as a nana was a source of endless joy, as she delighted in showering her grandchildren, Kaitlin Belcher, Devin Sawyer, Trmaya Bennett, Isaac Belcher, Aerianah Bennett, and Connor Belcher with affection, creating unforgettable memories that will be cherished forever.
A devoted sister to Dean Bailey, Kay Hemmelgarn, and Darrell [Debbie] Bailey and a loyal friend to many, she was always there to lend a listening ear and offer a comforting embrace. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her infectious laughter brought light to even the darkest of days.
Though she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the incredible life she lived, the love she shared, and the legacy of kindness she leaves behind.
In honor of her memory, a memorial service will be held on Saturday July 29, 2023 11:30 A.M. at Dudley Memorial Mortuary with Reverand Garry D. Moore and Darrell Bailey officiating. We invite all those who were touched by her presence to join us in commemorating the beautiful soul that she was.
Rest in peace, dear Twyllia. You will forever be missed and forever be loved.
