TIMOTHY ANDREW BROOKS SR

Timothy Andrew Brooks, Sr, 72 of Midway, WV passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022.  He was born on January 14, 1950 in Bluefield, VA and was the son of the late William Harman Brooks and Sylvia Ann Lawson Brooks.  He was an avid fisherman, loved to hunt and he was also a member of the Eagles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Mary Sue Goodman, Bruce Brooks, Yvonne Bourne, William "Bill" Brooks and Glenn Brooks.

He will be missed by his two sons: Timothy Brooks, Jr and wife, Amy of Falls Mills, VA and Michael Brooks and wife, Scarlett of Roanoke, VA; 7 grandchildren: Chairsh Milam (Bo), Andrea Brooks, Jacob Brooks, Kailey Brooks, Michelle Brooks, Brittney Brooks and Kenzie Brooks; 3 great-grandsons; siblings: David Brooks and wife, Erica of Bluefield, VA, Elizabeth Nelson and husband, Larry of CA, Larry Brooks and wife, Susie of Falls Church, VA, Nancy Byrd and husband, Larry of McKinny, TX, Gail Williams of Lexington, NC, Deborah Hosbein and husband, Tom of Bluefield, VA and Sandra Asbury and husband, Tommy of Bluefield, VA; companion: Mickey Gillespie and special friend: Debbie Harlan.

In keeping with his wishes, Tim's body will be cremated.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 12:00 noon with Rev. Jim Bassett officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
