REV. THOMAS ALVA PATRICK

Rev. Thomas Alva Patrick died in a tragic automobile accident in Cambridge, Ohio on Friday, April 15, 2022.  Born May 02, 1932 in Bluefield, VA to the late William (Bill) Walter Patrick and Anna Mae Burchett Patrick, Thomas lived a full and rich life of 89 years, just missing his 90 ^th birthday. Thomas became an evangelist early in life and pastored several churches throughout his lifetime.  He loved to preach the gospel and share the Word of God and God's love.  He had a passion for singing and always had a song on his lips and in his heart.  He is now in Heaven with our Lord and Savior, rejoicing with his loved ones.   In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his four children: Tommy, Brenda, Joann and Ronnie.

He is survived by his four sisters: Ailene Hampton, Carolyn Gillenwater, Linda Duncan and Norma Jean Stevens; his five grandchildren: Alva, Stephanie, Lenee Aleyda, Dalenna and Derek; his three great-grandchildren: Rhett, Aidan and Zoe, as well as many nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service for friends and family on Saturday, May 07, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Calvary Messenger Ministries, 2222 Princeton Avenue, Bluefield, WV 24701 with Pastor Mark Pennington, Rev. Jim Bassett and Rev. Paul Cambell officiating.  There will be a fellowship following the service for the family at the church.
