Thomas Edward Newman, Tom, or Tommy to his friends was a loving husband, father and a grandfather to many. He passed on the 5th March 2025 after a long battle with bone cancer. Born on 3rd March 1948, he died at age 77. He was a role model and a rock in our family. Tom was a kind soul who was always willing to lend a hand and became a lively member of the community, mainly mowing the lawn for his neighbours and lending an ear to their troubles. Tom was the type of man that when he spoke you couldn't help but listen intently. He had a great many stories about his career which took him all over the world.

Tom had a long career at British Airways, finishing as an Equipment Resource Coordinator at Gatwick Airport in the UK before joining Ogden Aviation with the responsibility of setting and maintaining equipment levels for the firm. He was then recruited by Fayat Group as a business consultant before in 2000, being assigned Chairman of their subsidiary company Charlatte-America. Tom then founded his own company Ground Tec International Ltd in the United Kingdom providing Ground Support Equipment & Ramp Consulting to the Airline Industry. He was chairman of T&C industries, LLC in the USA which managed Tom's business affairs.

Tom loved Western movies especially John Wayne which translated perfectly into his love for music; he loved country. Tom created very fond memories with his family and will forever be loved, dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
