THOMAS BRIAN HAWES

Thomas Brian Hawes, 61, of Elliston, VA and formerly of Roanoke, VA, passed from this life to life everlasting Thursday, August 25, 2022.  Born in Roanoke, VA, he was the son of the late Benjamin Miller and Virginia Sarah Sumpter Hawes.  Tom was a graduate of Cave Spring High School and had been a truck driver for various industries in his work career. He was a member of Seneca Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by an infant sister: Sarah Beth Hawes.

Tom will be remembered by his brothers: Brent Hawes of Roanoke, VA and Ben Hawes and wife, Faith of Bluefield, WV; niece: Danielle Saddler and husband, Brandon of Bluefield, WV; nephews: Jonathon Hawes and wife, Brittany and their son, Gideon of Princeton, WV and Alexander Hawes of Kingsport, TN; numerous cousins.

Tom's cremains will be buried at Jacksonville Cemetery in Floyd, VA beside his parents.  A service for the family is being planned and will be posted as details are finalized.  Rev. John Collins will officiate the service.
