THOMAS "T.C." CORDELL FARMER

Thomas "T.C." Cordell Farmer, 78 of Bland, VA, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020. Born in Pulaski, VA, he was the son of the late Jesse Cordell Farmer and Mary Elizabeth Johnson Farmer. He was a member of the Triangle Gun Club. He enjoyed fishing, time at Claytor Lake and collecting cars. T.C. was a civil servant, serving more than 20 years as a firefighter and more than 10 years as Sheriff in Bland, VA. He loved his family with a passion and took pride in the care of his property. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Roger Lee Farmer and Lynda Ann Mabrey.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years: Carolyn Sue Williams of Bland, VA; his children: Tim Farmer of Arvada, CO, Jeff Farmer of Bland, VA and Shelley Davis and companion, Travis Williams of N. Tazewell, VA; granddaughter: Elizabeth Faith Davis of N. Tazewell, VA.

A service to celebrate T.C.'s life will be held Sunday, November 29, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Pastor Carlos Hess officiating. Entombment will follow at Grandview Memory Mausoleum. Tim Farmer, Jeff Farmer, Ellis Eggleston and Travis Williams will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family Sunday at Dudley Memorial from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
