THOMAS GRATTON ALLEY, JR

Thomas Gratton Alley, Jr, 72 of Bluefield, VA, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 17, 2022.  Born in Bluefield, VA, he was the son of Mary Frances Hall Alley of Bluefield, VA and the late Thomas Gratton Alley. Jr was previously employed at Grandview Memory Gardens for over 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed cookouts with friends, fishing, raising livestock and helping others.

In addition to his mother, his memory will be cherished by his daughters: Teresa Alley of Bluefield, VA and Sherry Alley of Falls Mills, VA; siblings: Ruth Proffitt of Bluefield, VA, Ann Gilbert of Bluefield, VA and Ronnie Alley and wife, Lisa of Falls Mills, VA; grandchildren: Laken Alley, Jordan Alley, Jevante Stevens and Janesha Stevens; great-grandchildren: Kaydence Dale, Kyree Hairston and Kamden Stevens.

A service to celebrate Thomas' life will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Branham officiating.  Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens.  Jordan Alley, Jevante Stevens, Ronnie Alley, Shawn Harris, Dale Roberts and Randy Mason will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the hour of the service.
