SUSAN ELVIRA GILLS

Susan Elvira Gills, 64 of North Tazewell, VA, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022.  Born in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Haven "Porky" Howe Gills and Pamela Martin Gills Thompson.  She had been a truck driver for her life's occupation.  Susan enjoyed sewing, especially quilting.  She was also an avid Harley Davidson fan.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father: TC Thompson and a sister: Renee Thompson Sluss.

Those left to cherish her memory are her step-son: William Joe Buchanon; her brothers: Haven "JD" Gills, Stephen Gills, Tony Thompson, James "Buck" Thompson and wife, Becky and John Kelly Thompson and aunt Virginia Gills; special niece: Stephanie Gills; her fur baby: Colt.

In keeping with Susan's wishes, her body has been cremated.  There will be no public service.
