STEVEN TIMOTHY JOHNSON
Steven Timothy Johnson, 65 of Bluefield, VA, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at his residence. Born in Switchback, WV, he was the son of the late William Thomas and Evelyn Mae Compton Johnson. He was a member of Community Baptist Church. Steven loved gardening, fishing and Nascar.
He will be lovingly and affectionately missed by his children: Melonie Mitchelson of Bluefield, WV, Jody Bowman and husband, Byron of Bluefield, VA, Steven Johnson of Bluefield, WV; his siblings: Mary Gillespie and husband, Colin of Bluefield, WV, Danny Johnson and wife, Donna of Bluefield, WV, Mike Johnson of Bluefield, VA, Thomas Johnson and wife, Lorraine of Bluefield, WV; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a cherished extended family of nieces and nephews; his 2 fur babies: Sport and Chewie.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Dudley Memorial Chapel from 10:00-10:45 A.M. A service to celebrate Steven's life will follow the visitation on Wednesday at Grandview Memory Mausoleum Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. James Mooney officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
