Shirley A. Hill Caldwell of Bluefield, VA died Thursday September 24th. Born at Pipestem, WV she was the daughter of Luther and Blanche Meadows Hill. She was retired having worked at National Electric Coil until the company closed and later worked for Sam’s Club in Bluefield, VA for 15 years.

> She enjoyed gardening, canning, working in her yard raising flowers and sharing them with friends and neighbors.

> She was of Baptist faith.
>
> In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert (Bob) Caldwell and three brothers Jerry, Randy, and Jeff Hill, and stepdaughter Carla Bourne. She is survived by her son Rick Johnson and wife Jeanne Johnson of Bluefield, VA., Grandson Dr. Jeremy Johnson and wife Dr. Anh-Thu Le of St. Louis, MO., one brother Bobby Hill of Hinton, WV, three sisters Connie Ray Of Medina, OH, Gloria Carmichael of Huntington, WV, Julia Martin and husband Mickie of Athens, Tenn., sister-in-law Melva Hill of Kegley, WV, stepson Brian Caldwell of Bluefield, WV, step grandchildren Adam Bourne, Jason, and Amanda of Bluefield, WV, and several nieces and nephews.

> No flowers or visitation. She will be laid to rest in a small family gathering at the Hill Cemetery in Pipestem Park.
