Sherry L. Munson, 65 of Bluefield, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 03, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.  Sherry was born on December 16, 1956 to David Goldsmith and Peggy Saylor of Modesto, CA.  She was the oldest of 8 children.  Her siblings are Kim, Saundra, David, Johnny, Gary, Lea and Jennifer.  In 1984 she met and married Michael L. Munson, whom she loved and cherished until his passing in September of 2012.  Sherry was the mother to 3 children: Tiffany Riley, Jason Munson and Megan Munson.  She was mother-in-law to Justin and Tami and had 6 grandchildren: Taylor, Caitlin, Brady, Liam, Madison and Emma.  She also had 2 sweet dogs, who she loved: Angel and Peanut. Sherry was a dedicated grandma (Maga) and made it her priority to be an active part in all their lives.  Sherry loved the ocean, traveling and yard sales.  She had a strong passion for reading, gardening and crafting.  She was a joyful person and made an impact on so many people.  She loved her friends as much as her family and considered them as such.  We will miss her greatly.

To respect Sherry's final wishes, no service will be held and her body will be cremated.  Her family will plan a celebration of life for Sherry and friends and family can attend to pay their respects.  It will be arranged and announced at a later date.
