S. IIENE BOSTIC
S. Ilene Bostic, 94 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Heritage Hall, Tazewell, VA. Born in Cedar Bluff, VA, she was the daughter of the late James Joshua and Minnie Belle Pruett Spence. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert L. Bostic; brothers: Verne, Lloyd, Audrey and Orval; sister: Paula McClanahan.
She is survived by sisters: Velma Worrell, Ruth Beavers (Don) all of Bluefield, VA; daughters: Brenda McGinnis (Joe) of Tazewell, VA, Eva Ayers (David) of Dublin, VA, Sallie Rose (Tim) of Acworth, GA; sons: Orval Lee Bostic (Lynne) of Richland, WA, James Bostic (Nancy Pregnar) of Silver Spring, MD; 7 Grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Elders Ben Combs and Ked Stacey officiating. Burial will take place at Grandview Memory Gardens at a later date. Pallbearers will be Justin McGinnis, David Ayers, Aaron Starling and Austin Bostic. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Dudley Memorial from 12:00 noon until the hour of service.
