Ruth Charlene Patrick Turley

Ruth Charlene Patrick Turley, 81, passed away peacefully at home, into the loving arms of her Savior in the early morning hours of Dec. 22, 2020, after a brief battle with cancer. Born April 20, 1939 to Luther C. and Amanda Patrick. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Clyde Russell Turley, her parents and siblings: George L. Hall, Mary Patton, Thula Shawver, E.A. (Sonny) Patrick and Larry Patrick.

Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Jewell Norman and husband Jimm, grandchildren Reese and Amanda Norman, sister Cheryl Conley and husband Ron, sisters-in-law Sonia Patrick and Sue Furches and husband Fred, special Cousin Denny Scarberry and wife Phyllis and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Her favorite past times were reading her Bible and working Jumble puzzles. She attended various churches throughout the years including Graham Christian Church, Jesus Victory Crusades, Into the Light Ministries and most recently Words of Deliverance, where Pastor Raymond Mchone was like a son to her.

A service to celebrate Ruth's life will be held Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Grandview Memory Mausoleum Chapel at 12:00 noon with Pastor Raymond Mchone officiating.
