ROSINA MADGE BAILEY

Rosina Madge Bailey, 85, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, November 16, 2024, after an extended battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis and dementia. She was born in St. Paul Virginia and was the daughter of the late Dorsie D. Neece and Lydia Ellza Holbrook Neece.

In her early years, she worked at General Instruments in Tazewell Virginia. She was a home maker who loved gardening both indoors and outdoors, always having something beautiful in bloom. She was a wonderful cook always preparing everyone's favorite dishes with sweets being her specialty. She had a creative side as she loved to sew, knit and crochet. More recently, she loved feeding and watching birds.

Most importantly, she was a strong and resilient woman. learning to drive at 61 and overcoming her fear of water, learning to swim at 62. she was kindly to all and showered her family with love and kindness.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Tom Bailey Jr, sisters Grace Lee Fuller, Deanna Dee Fox, and brother Jack Neece.

She will be lovingly missed by her brother: James Calvin Neece and wife Dorothy of Johnson City Tennessee: her son Ben Tom Bailey III and wife Phyllis of North Tazewell: her daughter Sherry Bailey Bauguess and husband Charlie of Bluefield, Virginia: grandson Faiz Marhami of Hudson Valley, New York: grandson Christopher Dale Bailey and wife Trista of Springville, Virginia.

She was lovingly cared for by the following caregivers: Angie Lowe, Brook Lowe, Nancy Stover, Tracy Collins, Vicki Vencil, Marian Matthews, and the wonderful staff of ridge Care Assisted Living.

Respecting her wishes, graveside services will be on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jim Horn, at Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, Virginia.

In Lieu of flowers, she wished donations be made to the Tiptop United Methodist Church of Tiptop, Virginia or Child Shall Lead Them Food Pantry in Tazewell, Virginia
