ROSE MARIE BAILEY
Rose Marie Bailey, 79 of Falls Mills, VA, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015. She was born in Tazewell County and was the daughter of the late Jesse Obrine and Annie Louise Sawyers Asbury. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She was a member of the Falls Mills Christian Church and Calfee Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Keith Obrine Bailey; step-son: Richard "Dicky" Bailey; sisters: Annie, Pauline, Betty, Shirley, Peggy and Pearlie; brothers: Bill and Freddie.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Hyland Douglas Bailey; sons: Dean Bailey, Darrell Bailey and wife, Debbie; daughters: Kay Hemmelgarn, Twyllia Belcher and husband, Smoky; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Services to celebrate Mrs. Bailey's life will be Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with her son, Evangelist Darrell Bailey and Minister Rick Mathena officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends are invited to visit with the family Tuesday August 25, 2015 from 6-8 p. at Dudley Memorial.
