ROSALIE CHILDERS
Rosalie Childers, 85 of Bluefield, VA, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Westwood Nursing Home. She was born February 7, 1930 in Jeffery, WV. She was a member of Edgemont Baptist Church and enjoyed attending Gospel music concerts. She loved flowers, dogs and watching birds. She was preceded in death by her father, Millard Stollings and her son, Dale Childers.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son: Derek Childers and companion, Marsha Dalton of Princeton, WV; her daughter-in-law: Ella Childers of Bluefield, VA; brother: Jimmy Stollings and wife Rosie of Logan, WV; sister: Gaye Skaggs and husband, Reford of Logan, WV; sister-in-law: Genoa Evans of Logan, WV; grandchildren: Kerri Childers, Angelia Amos and Travis Childers; great-grandchildren: Hunter, Courtney, Nathan and Noah Amos, Kenny and Danny Atwood.
A service to celebrate Rosalie's life will be held Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Rev Hugh Cole officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
