RONNIE WAYNE PUCKETT, SR
Ronnie Wayne Puckett, Sr, 65 of Rocky Gap, VA, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at his home with his family by his side. Born in Richlands, VA, he was the son of Mary Hampton Puckett Baker and the late Early Eugene Puckett. Mr Puckett had served his country in the US Marines. He was a member of the NRA and of the Local Union #666 for the National Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was of the Methodist faith, an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his animals. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother; Danny Puckett.
He will be lovingly and affectionately remembered by his mother: Mary Baker of Rocky Gap, VA; his wife of 42 years: Pamela Burress Puckett; his son: Ronnie W Puckett, Jr and wife, Stefany of Rocky Gap, VA; sisters: Darlene Macks and husband, Earl of Sweeney, TX, Carol Evans of Bluefield, VA and Rita Puckett of Rocky Gap, VA; brothers: Kenneth Puckett and wife, Elizabeth of Sweeney, TX; Donnie Puckett and wife Peggy of Tazewell, VA; grandchild: Nicolas Baillargeon; several nieces and nephews; good friend: Donnie Asbury of Bluefield, VA.
A service to celebrate Ronnie's life will be held Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Dudley Memorial Mortuary at 5:00 p.m. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Dudley Memorial from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
