RONALD DALE MEADOWS

Ronald Dale Meadows, 72 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Heritage Hall Tazewell.  Born in Princeton, WV, he was the son of the late Keith Meadows and Lois Ann Meadows Akers. Ron graduated from Oakvale High School and worked as a CNA for a number of years.  He coached youth basketball.  In his youth, he attended Willowton Christian Church and in later life, he was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Bluefield, VA.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, whom he was very close to: Fred Akers.

Ron is survived by his wife: Carleen Taylor Meadows of Bluefield, VA; his children: Gene Meadows of Bluefield, VA and Tabitha Meadows of Bluefield, VA; his siblings; David Meadows and wife, Dreama of Princeton, WV, Gregory Meadows and wife, Careen of Peterstown, WV, Reginald Meadows and wife, Tammy of Bluefield, WV, Regina Meadows and husband, Gerald of Princeton, WV and Annie Higginbotham of Princeton, WV; several nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Ron's life will be held Friday, August 19, 2022 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Johnnie Mize officiating.  Burial will follow in the Willowton Family Cemetery in Oakvale, WV.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday at Dudley Memorial from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.
