RONALD JEROME DAVIS

Ronald Jerome Davis, 80 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020 at his home. Born in Dry Fork, VA, he was the son of the late David and Elmira Williams Davis. He was the last surviving member of his family. He enjoyed 4-wheeling and just being at home with his 3 fur-babies, Miley, Jeter and Frisky. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Teresa Joann Sluss Davis; siblings: Allene O'Quinn, Margaret Thompson, Elmer Davis, Louise Sparks, Clarence Davis, Geneva Whitt and Nina Whetzel.

He will be missed by his daughters: Tammy Isbell and husband, Jeffrey of Cedar Falls, IA and Patricia Taylor and husband, Frank of Simpsonville, SC; grandchildren: Porsha Isbell, C.J. Isbell, Marsha Dowdle and Alisa Taylor; great-grandchildren: McKensie Strickland, Lexi Dowdle and Gavin Dowdle.

A service to celebrate Ronald's life will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Mike Marshall and Tammy Isbell officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens. Barry Brooks, Brandon Johnson, Jim Davis, Tom Creasy, Willie Irvin and Mike Marshall will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Graham, Billy Jennings, Tom Belcher and Billy Howard.  Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
