ROBERT JEARIE BREWSTER

Robert Jearie Brewster, 89 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Friday, February 03, 2023 at Princeton Community Hospital.  Born in Tazewell County, (Mudfork) VA, he was the son of the late James and Sally Altizer Brewster.  He had graduated from Tazewell High School, where he played football and to this day was an avid Bulldogs football fan.  Robert was a proud United States Army veteran.  He had retired from the Railroad after 40 years of service.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife: Doris Gullet Brewster and his second wife: Anita Jo Cincioni Brewster; 2 sisters: Gladys Edwards and Tom Lockhart.

Those left to cherish Robert's memory are his son: David Brewster and wife, Christine of Bluefield, VA; his grandchildren: Jonathon Brewster and wife, Jessica of Bluefield, WV, Jordan Brewster and Hunter Brewster both of Bluefield, VA; great-grandchildren: Issac Brewster, Carter Brewster and Leanna Ruth Brewster; niece: Sue Edwards Houchins and husband, Larry of Charleston, WV.

A service to celebrate Robert's life will be held on Tuesday, February 07, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jim Drake officiating.  Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens, where Mercer County Honor Guard will conduct Military Rites. Pallbearers will be Pete Beavers, Allen Beck, Jonathon Brewster, Jordan Brewster and Hunter Brewster.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.
