RICHARD DALE RICHMOND

Richard Dale Richmond, 60 of Bluefield, VA, went home to be with Jesus on April 26, 2021. Rick was born in Chicago, IL, to the late Robert Richmond and Hazel Neal Pritt.

Rick was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He spent 40 plus years working as a lineman and loved his trade, enjoyed being outdoors, NASCAR, gardening, and country music.

In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his grandparents: Obie & Alice Neal of Falls Mills, VA; He is survived by his son: Robert Richmond (Dylan) of Rocky Gap, VA; daughter: Allison Stevens and husband, Caleb Stevens of Harrington, DE; granddaughters: Scarlet Stevens, Rozlyne Mutter; grandson: Cameron Stevens; sisters: Carol Farmer and husband, Larry Farmer of Bluefield, VA, Patricia Onebull and late husband, Samuel Froy of Bluefield, WV, Kathy Wright and husband, Kerry Wright of Rocky Gap, VA, Mary Carbaugh and husband Mark Carbaugh of Bluefield, VA; brothers: Kenneth Richmond of Bluefield, VA, Jim Coyle of Eustis, FL, Jeff Coyle of Bluefield, VA; his four legged buddy: Diesel of Bluefield, VA; several nieces and nephews.

In remembrance of Rick, his memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. noon at Dudley Memorial Chapel . Friends may visit with the family Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of the service. Flowers can be sent to Dudley Memorial in Richard Richmond's name.
