RHONDA ELLEN WHITE

Rhonda Ellen White, 52 of Abingdon, VA and formerly of Bluefield, WV, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA. Born in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of Ronald Lee Hutchens, Sr of Mechanicsville, VA and Freda Bragg of Princeton, WV.  She was of the Baptist faith and loved her home and family.  She was a kind hearted person with an avid passion for animals.  Rhonda loved gardening.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Nancy Scarberry and Donald Scarberry and paternal grandparents: Margaret and McKinley Hutchens.

In addition to her parents, she will be lovingly missed by her companion of 24 years: David Mann of Abingdon, VA; siblings: Donna Lynn Hutchens of Myrtle Beach, SC, Tima Akers (Danny) of Bluefield, VA, Kenny Hutchens of Princeton, WV and Ronald Hutchens, Jr of Maryland; several half-brothers and sisters; several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. Her family is planning a memorial service, which will be announced at a later date.
