Obituary

Regina "Cheech" Chandler of Bluefield, WV has followed her loving parents, Phillip and Frances Simmons Chandler into Heaven after an extended illness.

Regina was a graduate of Graham High School and earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Bluefield State College where she also served as a Financial Aid Officer for many years. She was known as a hard worker, most notably by her favorite employers at NOPA in Arlington, VA. She loved animals, particularly her kitty cats, as much as she loved her family.  Regina was a long standing member of Calvary Baptist, but had been unable to attend for some time.

Those left to honor her include daughters and sons-in-law April & Tim Parks and Beth and Toby Duncan.  Cheech will be missed by many, including her only sister and brother-in-law Bonnie and Jimmy Woody and her nephews Michael and Keith. Mom adored her many grandchildren Victoria Parks, Timothy Parks III, Jordan Duncan, Kayla Duncan, Brandon Duncan, and Zachary Parks. She was crazy about her only great grandchild, Elijah Absher.  In addition, she is also fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  As such, a celebration of her life with family and friends will take place on August 10, 2022 at 1pm at the Monte Vista Park Cemetery Chapel in a gravesite service. There will be no public visitation at her request.

In lieu of flowers, it was requested that donations be made in her name to the ASPCA.  Donations can be made at ASPCA.ORG

She is being thoughtfully cared for, with gratitude, by Dudley Memorial Mortuary in Bluefield, VA.

Thank you so much for ALL of your help. We couldn't have endured this without your help.
