Reba Irene Pruett, 95 years, passed peacefully on June 1, 2023, at her home in Oakton, Virginia.  Reba was born in Meadows of Dan, Virginia, on September 30, 1927.   After graduating high school, she moved to Bluefield, West Virginia with her sister Roxie.  She lived in Bluefield with her husband William Pruett, who predeceased her, for 70 plus years.  In 2018 she moved to Oakton, again with her sister Roxie, to live with her nephew and his family.

She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Bluefield, an avid walker, a lover of dogs and of all things chocolate.  She worked in administration for the telephone company for 45 years where she never missed a single day.

Reba's joins her parents and four of her siblings in her their heavenly home.  She is remembered and missed by her remaining sister and her numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial to celebrate her life at The Roselawn Memorial Mausoleum Chapel on Monday, July 3, 2023.  Friends may visit and speak with the family from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. when the service will be performed by Pastor Ed Fisher.  She will be interred at the mausoleum following the service.
