RALPH DOUGLAS HEFFINGER

Ralph Douglas Heffinger, 74 of Falls Mills, VA, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021. Born at home in Tip Top, VA, he was the son of the late Ernest L. Heffinger and Louise Taylor Heffinger. Ralph served proudly in the US Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the VFW Post #9696 and lifelong member of the UMWA. He enjoyed being outside, doing yardwork and anything to do with horses. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Belle Burton Heffinger; brother: Joe Heffinger; sisters: Imogene Pauley Corvin and Norma Bowman.

He will be greatly missed by his 3 children: Angela Ruble and husband, Rodney, Richard Heffinger and wife, Patricia and April Ball and husband, Karl; his grandchildren:  Camilla Belle Ball, Waylon Ruble, Briana Baldridge and husband, Robert and Benjamin Lamie and wife, Jordan; brother: Pete Heffinger and wife, Kay; sisters: Dorothy (Dottie) Garibay, Evelyn Gillespie, Sue Barker and husband, Wayne, and Elsie Hale and husband, Rex; a multitude of nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Ralph's life will be held Sunday, May 09, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jim Horn officiating. The Mercer County Honor Guard will conduct military last rites following the service.

In keeping with his wishes, his body will be cremated. There will be no public visitation.
