PRISCILLA "JOANN" BROWNING

Priscilla "Joann" Browning, 72 of North Tazewell, VA, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022.  Born in Bluefield, VA, she was the daughter of the late James Clinton and Ethel Irene Lambert Noel. She had worked as a CAN.  Joann previously attended the Tip Top Church of God.  She enjoyed sewing, crafting, home decorating, flower gardening and was a good cook.  She was a loving sister, wife mother and grandmother.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Mason, Jackie, Johnny and Jimmy Noel and a sister: Betty Jennings.

She will be lovingly missed by her husband of more than 53 years: Gerald Browning; her daughters: Teresa Hungate of Blacksburg, VA and Karen Bailey of Bluefield, WV; her siblings: Silas Noel and wife, Sharon of Rural Retreat, VA and Debra Lewis, Clinton, SC; her grandchildren: Dedra Chambers and husband, Luke, Saxton Hungate and Christopher Bailey; her great-grandchildren: Jasper Chambers and Katherine Chambers.

A service to celebrate Joann's life will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Maple Hill Cemetery Chapel. Family will serve as pallbearers. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday at Maple Hill Chapel from 12:30 P.M. until the hour of the service.
