PEGGY SUE WILLIAMS
Peggy Sue Williams, 83 of Yulee, FL, went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday, December 19, 2017. Born in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Jessie James Baker and Sallie Mae Smothers Baker Roten. She enjoyed attending church and was a devoted mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Carl Ray Williams; daughter: Susan Williams; sister: Louise Roten; great-grandson: D.J. Williams.
She will be lovingly and affectionately missed by her children: Linda Roten ( Danny), Charlie Williams (Illeen), Richard Williams (Gail), Dreama Smith (Kate), David Williams (Lisa), Terry Williams and Sherri Messick; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; sister: Deborah Beckner (Aaron); several nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Peggy's life will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Grandview Memory Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Junior Anderson officiating. There will be no public visitation. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at Grandview Mausoleum on Thursday no later than 10:45 A.M.
Dudley Memorial is serving the Williams family.
