PAUL DANIEL ASHBY
Paul Daniel Ashby, 76 of Heritage Hall, Tazewell, VA, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Virginia and was the son of the late Franklin D and Carrie Bailey Ashby. He had been a self-employed carpenter for his life's work. Mr Ashby loved animals and gardening. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandchild: Michael Neal, and his siblings: Elsie Lowe, Mary, Franklin D Ashby, Jr, and Goldie.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Paul Daniel Ashby, Jr of Winston-Salem, NC, Doug Wolfe, Debbie Zuniga of Winston-Salem, NC, Sharon Rene Ramirez of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Lisa Diane Blecky of Clayton, NC; brother: Sam Murray of Lawton, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Marisa Duran, Taylor Shumate, Nathan Ashby, Sarah Ramirez, Jennifer and Justin, Brian Zuniga and Emma Blecky; great-grandchildren: Tyler Manring, Damian Duran and Nevaeh Duran.
A graveside service will be held Monday, June 1, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Rev Jim Bassett officiating. Family served as pallbearers.
