PAMELA ANN GARLAND

Pamela Ann Garland age 55 of Metairie, Louisiana went to be with the Lord surrounded by family March 12, 2018. Pam was born on September 23, 1962 in Washington, D.C. Pam attended R B Worthy High School in Saltville, VA.  She worked at Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions in Metairie, LA.  Pam was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, cousin, and friend to all those she encountered.  Pam was a very social, active woman who loved the city of New Orleans, Jazz Music, & Marilyn Monroe.   She loved animals, especially her bird Buddy.  Her family and friends will always remember her as a beautiful, fun, and spirited woman.  She truly will be missed.

Pamela (Pam) is survived by her daughter Mary Elizabeth Surber-Craft (husband Wesley), of Holmesville, Ohio. Her grandchildren, Rhiannon, JD, Mackenna, Mia, Mava, Joshua and JD, all of Holmesville, Ohio.  Her siblings, Gloria Zelinski (husband Brad) of Lexington, KY; Richard Garland (wife Eileen) of Gainesville, VA; Gary Simms of Falls Mills, VA; Christine Guidry (husband Roy) of Houma, LA; Mark Simms (wife Danette) of Bluefield, VA; & Samantha Garland of Rocky Gap, VA; Pam's father Earl Garland of Rocky Gap, VA; & her stepfather, Howard Epperson, Falls Mills, VA.

A devoted Catholic, she is preceded in death by her beloved son, Joshua Wayne Surber; mother, Mava Christine Epperson; brother, Donald Garland; grandmothers, Julie May Violette Steele Lucas & Pearl Etta Street Day; & grandfathers, Tanner Benjamin Garland Sr. & Roby Albert Day.

A memorial service will be held at Dudley Funeral Home, Saturday March 24, 2018 at noon.
