NORMA JEAN TABOR

Norma Jean Tabor, 82 of Mebane, NC and formerly of Abbs Valley, VA, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022.  Born in Pageton, WV, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Pauline Hylton Rorrer.   Norma was a loving wife, cherished mother and grandmother.  She retired from the US Postal service as a Postmaster in 2000.  Her home was always open and all were welcome for conversation, coffee or a meal.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Alvin Tabor and a sister, Louise Rorrer.

Her memory will be cherished by her children: Larry Tabor and wife, Mandy and Constance Tabor; her siblings: Shirley Gillespie and James W. Rorrer, Jr and wife, Betty; her grandchildren: Rev. Caleb Tabor, Bailey Spear and Elijah Tabor.

A service to celebrate Norma's life will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 1:00 P.M. with her grandson, Rev. Caleb Tabor officiating. Interment will take place at Grandview Memory Gardens immediately following the service.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Dudley Memorial from 5:00 -7:00 P.M.
