Obituary

Millie Hall Durham Moody, 82, of Springville, VA left this life on Friday, November 29 th, 2019 to receive her wings in her eternal life with Jesus. She was born in Thompson Valley, VA and was the daughter of the late Arthur Hall and Mollie Medley Hall. She was a devout Christian and loved her family dearly. Prior to her retirement, she was a self-employed owner of the former Pet's & Things and worked as a caregiver. She attended church at the Tazewell Family Worship Center in Tazewell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Kenneth "Corky" Durham and her second husband, Donald Moody; sons Dennis Durham and Mark Durham; sisters Shirley Hall, Linda McGuire, Oma Spradlin, and Pansy Wright; and one brother, Alvin Hall.

Those left to cherish her sweet memory include her daughter, Susan Gullion, and husband Jack, of Bluefield, VA; two sons, Timothy Durham, and wife Sally, of Kernersville, NC; and Frank "Kenny" Durham, and fiancé Frances Devor of Bluefield, VA; two brothers; Buford Hall and Jerry Hall of Springville, VA. Grandchildren; Justin Gullion, Travis Gullion, Angel Ray, Trish Durham, and Jeremy Durham, and brother-in-law, Jimmy McGuire of Springville. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and dear friends Barb Amber, Mary Totton, and Donny Totton.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 1:00 PM, at Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, VA with Pastors Jerry Whiteheart and Donna Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens. Family members Travis Gullion, Justin Gullion, Alex Durham, Mike Spradlin, and Rusty Spradlin; and friend Donnie Totton will serve as pallbearers. Friends may visit with the Family Sunday, December 1, at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
