MICHAEL STEVEN FARMER

Michael Steven Farmer, 67 of Bluefield, WV, passed away Monday, July 15, 2024 after a long battle with cancer.  Born in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late Henry Paige and Carrie Elizabeth Akers Farmer.  Mike was a member of True Vine Fellowship.  He enjoyed sight-seeing, while riding his motorcycle and camping. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Everett, Carl "Butch", Donnie and his twin brother, Douglas; foster brother: Junior Neal.

He will be lovingly missed by the love of his life, his wife of 45 years: Vickie Lynn Brewster Farmer; brother: Henry Wayne Farmer and wife, Tammy of Max Meadows, VA; step-sister: Grace Adkins of Bluefield, WV; his beloved Support Animal:" Pebbles; special friends: Jack Hill and Susan Jarrell and his many "Honey's".

A service to celebrate Mike's life will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Danny Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens.  David Orander, David Beck, Howard Call, Jack Hill, Ronnie Williams and Mark Shortridge will serve as pallbearers.  Friends wanting to ride their motorcycle to lead the funeral procession are welcome to do so.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.

Friends are invited to join the family for a time of food and fellowship after the service at Falls Mills United Methodist Church, 116 Angel Lane, Falls Mills, VA 24613.
