MICHAEL STEVENS DONITHAN

Michael Stevens Donithan, 55 of Bastian, VA, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Kindred Hospital of Greensboro, Greensboro, NC.   Born in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late James and Jo Ann Bowling Donithan.  He had worked as a mechanic, repairing engines. He was an avid Bluefield Beaver football fan and he enjoyed watching TV.  He gave the gift of life to others, as he was an organ donor in his death. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Dorothy Bowling.

He will be lovingly missed by his siblings: David Donithan, of Bluefield, WV, whom he lived with until his last days, Doug Donithan of Bluefield, VA and Teresa Amador and husband, Roger of Miami, FL; niece and nephew: Manuela and Miquel Despian of Miami, FL; maternal aunts: Judy Lynch and husband, Ronald of Bluefield, WV and Sue Hutchinson and husband, Clayton of Bluefield, VA.

In keeping with his wishes, Michael will be cremated. The family is planning a memorial service at First Baptist Church, Bluefield, WV with Dr. Shawn White officiating.  The date and time of this service will be announced as soon as the details are planned.
