MERILOU FROST MOORE

MeriLou Frost Moore, 83 of Midway, WV, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV. Born in Anawalt, WV, she was the daughter of the late Roy E. and Mary Hazel Bowman Watkins. MeriLou had been a hairdresser and enjoyed painting. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a former member of Bluefield, VA First United Methodist Church and most recently attended Coal City Freewill Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: William Arthur Frost II.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 48 years: James Newton Moore, Jr; her sons: Dan "Frosty" Frost and Kathy of Bluefield, VA, John Elliot Frost and Holly of Knoxville, TN and David Michael Moore of Midway, WV; grandsons: Jereme Frost and Justin Frost of Knoxville, TN and John Frost of Winfield, WV; great-grandsons: Hudson Frost and Oliver Frost; step-daughter: Shannon Jackson of Peterstown, WV; very special friend: Danessa Hardee of Mullins, WV.

In keeping with MeriLou's wishes, her body has been cremated. There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
