MARY FRANCIS MCNEILL
Mary Francis McNeill, 90 of Bluefield, VA, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. Born in Maxwell, VA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Amanda Boothe Combs. She was a fantastic cook and enjoyed feeding people. She loved her flowers and gardening. She was the oldest member of the Fincastle First Church of God. She loved her church and church family. Spending time with and caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was her favorite past time. In addition to her parents, she was the preceded in death by her husband: Martin McNeill; siblings: Fred, Elmer, David, Howard and Roy Lee Combs and Louise Hicks.
She will be lovingly missed by her children: Tom McNeil (Donna) of Advance, NC and Kathy Anderson (Richard) of Bluefield, VA; sister: Maire Fallise of Lawrence, MA; grandchildren: Bryan McNeil (Miliette), Bradley McNeil (Yvonne), Allison Speas (Austin), Steve Anderson, Keri Medlar (Anthony) and Megan Anderson; 7 great-grandchildren; special neighbors: Debbie and Albert Harless.
Services to celebrate Mrs. McNeill's life will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Rev Perry Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday at Dudley Memorial from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.
