MARY ELIZABETH SAWYERS LOVELL
Mary Elizabeth Sawyers Lovell, 72 of Falls Mills, VA, passed away Friday March 3, 2017 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Vicey Bentley Sawyers. In her day, she enjoyed playing BINGO. Mary loved being a mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Douglas Phlegar Lovell; siblings: Jimmy Sayers, Roger Sayers, Larry Sawyers and Elsie Thomas; son: David Lovell; grandson: Christopher Barton.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Douglas Lovell of Falls Mills, VA, Thomas Lovell and wife, Holly of Bluefield, WV, John Lovell of Falls Mills, VA, Judy Hoffmeister of Falls Mills, VA, Connie Barton and husband, Chris of Falls Mills, VA; Siblings: Eddie Sawyers and wife, Sue of Wytheville, VA, Ricky Sawyers of Bluefield, WV, Nancy Dillow and husband, Thomas of Bluefield, WV, Janice Boyd and husband, Michael of Falls Mills, VA; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Mary's life will be held Monday, March 6, 2017 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Minister Frank Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Dudley Memorial Mortuary from 6-8P.M.
