MARY EPPERLY HELDRETH

Mary Epperly Heldreth, 88 of Radford, VA and formerly of Bluefield, VA, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020.  Born in Fayetteville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Henry Phillip Epperly and Flossie Elaine Ross Epperly.  She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and attended until her health would no longer allow her to do so.  She loved gardening, especially roses and enjoyed crafting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her long time companion: Harry Webster; sisters: Mildred Ann Selvey Vernon, Vella Jo Peterson and Lois June Campbell; several half siblings; an infant daughter: Rebecca Ann Heldreth.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Pam Gess of Christiansburg, VA and Rhonda Boone and husband, Richard of Matthews, NC; grandchildren: Greg Gess of Bluefield, VA, Mark Gess and wife, Angela of Blacksburg, VA, Jeff Gess of Atlanta, GA, Ali Boone of Charlotte, NC, Adam Boone and wife, Sarah of Matthews, NC and Mackenzie Boone of Matthews, NC; great-grandchildren: Spencer Gess, Ezra Boone and Levi Boone.

There will be a private family service officiated by Pastor Brian Cockram.

In lieu of flowers, it is the family's request that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
