MARY LINDA ELLISON

Our sweet mother, Linda Ellison, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 05, 2025.  She was 81 years old. She was born on September 21, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Clarence H. Sword and Della Henderson Sword. Linda had worked for Paper Supply Company, St. Luke's Hospital, Limestone Dust Corporation and Farm Bureau.  She was preceded in death by her husband: Donald Ellison; her brother: Daniel H. Sword (Elsie); her sisters: Annette Caldwell (Carl) and Betty Snell (Frankie).

Linda loved gospel music, all her cats and being with friends and family, particularly her daughters: Mary Harmon Edmonds and Cidney Ellison Tillie.  Linda loved her special friends: Stacey Summers and Heather Fox.  She dearly loved her friend and neighbor, Sandy Robinette Walther.

A service to honor Linda's life will be held Monday, March 10, 2025 at Grandview Memory Mausoleum Chapel at 1:00 P.M. with her son-in-law, David Tillie officiating.

Friends may visit with the family at the mausoleum on Monday from 12:30 P.M. until the hour of the service.
