MARY ESTELL COX

Mary Estell Cox, 94 of North Tazewell, VA, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023.  Born in Tazewell, VA, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Linnie Cox.  Mary was a member and attended Springville Christian Church when her health permitted.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Oren Cox, Charles Cox and Ethel Puckett; nephews: Kenny Puckett and Charles B. Cox.

She will be lovingly missed by her nephew: Stan Cox and his wife, Debbie; great-nephew: Josh Cox and wife, Jodie; great great-nephew: Kayson Cox, who was the light of her life; great-niece: Melanie Whitley and husband, Shane; great great-niece: Tori Edmisten and husband, Casey; nieces: Rena Cox, Sheila Puckett and Ella Stauton; nephews: Roger Cox (Linda) and Darryl Cox; additional great nieces and great nephews;  special friends: Charlotte Dunahoe and Steve Taylor.

A service to celebrate Mary's life will be held Friday, November 17, 2023 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Ministers Bill Kinser and Tony Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens.  Pall bearers will be Stan Cox, Josh Cox, Rick Catron, Travis Williams, Darryl Thomas and Rick Hess.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday at Dudley Memorial from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.
