MARY CLARK BLEVINS CASSIDY
Mary Clark Blevins Cassidy, 73 of Bluefield, WV passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017. Born in Welch, WV she was the daughter of the late Helen Cooper Honaker. Mary was a person who enjoyed people, never met a stranger and had a big heart. She had an avid passion for cooking for her family and friends. She loved reading and going to the beach. She had been a teacher/counselor for many years and truly loved the people she worked with. Her grandsons were the Love of her life. She was loved by everyone she met. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her step-father: Jim Honaker and her oldest son: Larry Todd Cassidy.
She will be lovingly and affectionately missed by her husband of 50+ years: Sam Cassidy; her son: Scott Cassidy and wife, Leigh Ann of Cincinnati, OH; daughter-in-law: Kim Collins of Youngsville, NC; grandsons: Dylan James and Mitchell Lee Cassidy of Cincinnati, OH and Samuel Todd Cassidy of Youngsville, NC; also, family member: Larry Myers of Birmingham, AL.
A service to celebrate Mary's life will be held Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Rev. Randy Gilliam officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday at Dudley Memorial from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.
In keeping with Mary's wishes, her body has been cremated. In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to consider making donations to the American Cancer Society in Mary's memory.
