MARY JANE DAVIS ARTRIP

II Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

Mary Jane Davis Artrip, 86 of Falls Mills, VA, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, August 17, 2019. Born in Matoaka, WV, she was the daughter of the late James M and Lucretia B Wheeler Davis. She had been a member of Memorial Baptist Church since 1955 and had taught Sunday School for over 40 years. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, playing the piano and swinging on her front porch. Mary Jane loved fishing and was named "Catfish Queen". In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Bobby Carl Artrip; her son: Michael Artrip; granddaughter: Diane Rice; siblings: James, Sam and Wilford Davis and Maxine Evans.

She will be lovingly and affectionately missed by her son: Tim Artrip and his wife, Lynnette of Falls Mills, VA; siblings: Henry H. Davis of Aurora, CO and Sibyl Wright of Wright Mountain, WV; grandchildren: Jason Artrip, Nicole Franklin and Christa Vires; great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Artrip, Abigail Franklin, Addison, Brayden, Tryston Vires.

A service to celebrate Mary Jane's life will be held Friday, August 23, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Rev Bill Lykins officiating. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Mausoleum. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Dudley Memorial from 1:00-2:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Memorial Baptist in Mary Jane's memory.
