MARGARET VIRGINIA PRUETT
Margaret Virginia Pruett, 75 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2106. Born in Tazewell, VA, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Hattie Alley Kitts. She retired from Aramark as a seamstress after 25 years of service. She was a member of the 2nd Tuesday Quilting Club, the Ladies Circle at Graham Christian Church and the Watauga Valley Chapter of National Railroad Historical Society. Margaret loved to travel and had visited 48 states. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, George "BucK" Earls; daughter: Kathy Stevenson Flint; granddaughter: Heather Meadows; grandson: William "Skip" Stevenson; great-granddaughter: Sierra Meadows; 4 sisters; 1 brother.
She will be lovingly and affectionately remembered by her husband and travel companion of 10 years: Harold Pruett; daughters: Penny Broyles and husband, Jerry of Tazewell, VA, Barbara Kincer and husband, Henry of Tazewell, VA; brothers: Albert Kitts and wife, Carol of Bastian, VA, Alfred Kitts and wife, Kay of Mudfork, VA; sister: Edna Howell of Ronda, NC; grandchildren: Brandon Broyles and wife, Chea, Travis Boyles and wife, Sara, Jessee Stevenson, Laura and Matthew Kincer; great-grandchildren: Cody Osborne, Bethany and Joseph Broyles, Dean and Nathan Stevenson; beloved fur-baby: Wynn-Dixie.
A service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Graham Christian Church at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Lyons officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday, at Graham Christian Church from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
